HEATING AND COOLING
Heating and cooling cities in the 21st Century will determine the outcome of the battles against air pollution and greenhouse emissions. That is because heating and cooling are major contributors to air pollution, greenhouse emissions and global warming.
One building, one street, one town, one city at a time that is how we use geothermal to transform cities. We replace the heat source that comes from burning fossil fuels (oil, coal) of one neighborhood to the next with geothermal heat.
Geothermal energy is under our feet in the form of hot water and steam that has been heated up by the earth’s core. Some of this super-heated water rises back to the surface of the earth where it emerges as hot springs or even geysers.
Our Joint venture in China Sinopec Green Energy Geothermal development is the world largest district heating company in the world. It’s operations are in 60 cities/counties, with more than 700 employees and is poised to continue an exponential growth in coming years.
