Arctic Green Energy will participate in the European Geothermal Congress (EGC) in Berlin, Germany, from 17 to 21 October 2022. Mr Eirikur Bragason, our Chief Operating Officer, will be a speaker at the Semi-Plenary 1B, “Technological trends in Geothermal heating and cooling” on Wednesday, 19. October between 9:00 – 10:30 in Room B05+B06.
The European Geothermal Congress (EGC) is the biggest event in the entire European geothermal sector and attracts over one thousand participants worldwide.
With the current energy crisis in Europe, with energy prices for heat multiplying and still rising, the timing of this Congress is perfect. Including geothermal in the energy mix has probably never been so important.
Geothermal heating has been proven on a massive scale in Iceland and China, and the model can easily be repeated in Europe. Cities heated with geothermal can enjoy price stability, energy security, and a clean environment.
Meet us at EGC in Berlin.
